The Courier-Times (New Castle) promoted two employees to management positions.

Publisher Bob Hansen announced that Lisa Perry was named editor and Stacie Wrightsman was named advertising director.

Perry and Wrightsman join David Brandt, circulation director, as department heads at The Courier-Times.

Perry joined the newspaper as a staff writer in 2013. Her coverage areas have included schools and, more recently, New Castle city government, politics and economic development.

She is the author of “Haunted Henry County IV – Looking for Catherine: Memoirs of a House That Spoke.” She is a member of the Breakfast Optimist Club and a board member for the Academy for Community Leadership.

Perry is a former reporter for two daily newspapers in Ohio.

A New Castle native, she earned an associate degree at IU East and, later, a bachelor’s degree at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

Wrightsman has worked for several years at The Courier-Times, starting almost 15 years ago as a classified advertising representative.

She has most recently been an advertising sales representative. She also worked in advertising sales for three daily newspapers in other cities.

Perry replaces Hansen as editor. Wrightsman replaces Brandon Cox, who took a job with another newspaper.
