The Tribune (Seymour) has named a new editor.
Aubrey Woods of Brownstown has lived and worked in the Jackson County community for nearly 30 years.
Woods replaces Dan Davis, the new executive director of the Community Foundation of Jackson County.
Woods first worked at The Tribune in 1988 as a staff photographer. He later served two stints as sports editor and also worked as a general assignment reporter, concentrating on police news.
The Indianapolis native moved to Jackson County in 1986. He has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis and has won numerous awards from the Hoosier State Press Association Foundation and Associated Press Media Editors.
