The Herald Journal, a growing six-day daily newspaper in central Indiana, seeks a motivated, energetic and ambitious community reporter to cover town meetings, local businesses and events throughout the communities in the surrounding area. Applicants should be willing to write up to three stories per day, along with making daily posts to the Herald Journal’s website and Facebook page. Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and AP style is preferred.

Sports D​irector

KPC Media Group Inc. is looking for a sports director to oversee its three daily newspapers’ coverage in northeast Indiana. The coverage area encompasses 13 high schools in four contiguous counties plus a Division III university. The sports director will edit content, work to improve staff writing, produce stories, photos and video. Daily newspaper deadline experience is required.
