Elkhart Truth Publishing received an award of excellence for its Flavor 574 tablet magazine in the Society for News Design’s “Best of Digital Design” competition.

The contest for the 2014 calendar year brought in more than 900 entries, making it the largest body of work since the contest was established in 2002.

About 20 percent of entries received recognition with either a gold medal, silver medal or award of excellence.

Judging was conducted at the Ball State University Indianapolis Center earlier this year.
