Heather Bremer has been promoted to managing editor for digital at The Herald Bulletin (Anderson).
She will oversee the newspaper’s website, social media engagement and other digital efforts.
Bremer is a newspaper veteran who rejoined The Herald Bulletin in 2013 after working as social media coordinator for USA Football. She previously worked in the newsroom at Florida Today.
Before her recent promotion, Bremer’s title was content editor. She was responsible for the wire report in The Herald Bulletin, as well as creating graphics and copy editing. She will continue to serve on the newspaper’s editorial board.
“Heather is a multi-talented journalist with a creative approach to content on digital and print platforms,” said Scott Underwood, editor of The Herald Bulletin. “She’ll breathe new life into our digital efforts.”
Andy Knight, a member of The Herald Bulletin’s staff since 2010, will take on the new title digital producer and will work closely with Bremer on the newspaper’s digital products.
