KPC Media Group announces the addition of several new employees and new responsibilities for veteran employees.
Reporter Peter Ambrose, a new hire, has over 10 years of local broadcast news experience.
“We are fortunate to have Peter, who already knows this community and what is important to northeast Indiana businesses,” said Barry Rochford, editor of Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly, a news publication in northeast Indiana.
Ambrose replaces Joel Elliott.
Elliott has been promoted to the position of assistant night editor for KPC Media Group’s newsroom, which comprises three daily newspapers, The News Sun (Kendallville), The Star (Auburn) and The Herald Republican (Angola).
Ann Saggars has been promoted to creative services manager from classified supervisor.
Saggars began her newspaper career 16 years ago as operations manager at The Herald Republican, a KPC property in Angola.
“We could not be happier to promote the highly capable Ann Saggars to oversee our design staff,” said Terry Ward, chief operating officer for KPC Media Group.
Saggars replaces Jane Minick, who recently retired after 20 years of service with KPC.
In the area of business development, Nate Woenker and Wendy Krzyzanowski have been hired as multimedia marketing account executives for Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly.
Bobbi Maddox has been hired as multimedia marketing account executive for the Times Community Publications, comprised of publications delivered free to over 72,000 homes and businesses in Allen County.
“It is gratifying to see talented individuals attracted to KPC Media Group to be part of our news tradition,” Ward said.
