The Herald News in Cayuga published its last edition Nov. 18.
Doug Chambers, publisher and editor of the publication, announced the closing of the newspaper after 117 years.
“We would like to thank everyone that has contributed to our efforts over the years, and on behalf of myself and our employees, we wish you a fond farewell,” Chambers said.
Chambers also publishes the Greenwood & Southside Challenger in Johnson County.
