Adam Parkhouse is the new managing editor at The News-Dispatch (Michigan City).
Parkhouse has been with the News-Dispatch’s sports department since 2001, serving as sports editor since 2004.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to move to the news side of the paper and use my knowledge of and love for the area in new and exciting ways,” Parkhouse said.
Parkhouse is a lifelong Michigan City resident. He graduated from Indiana University-South Bend in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications.
“I’m happy to be able to promote from within the ranks, and I think Adam is well-suited for his job,” Publisher Bill Hackney said.
Parkhouse replaces Julie McClure.
