From The Mail-Journal (Milford):

Q: What are the guidelines for keeping our public notice advertisements on our newspaper’s website? I was looking at some of the other newspapers that have links on the HSPA website, and I found a wide variety of time. Are we required to post the notices on our website?

A: Indiana law requires the posting of notices on a newspaper’s website on the same day as it runs in the newspaper.

HSPA suggests newspapers keep the public notices up for a period of time to increase their visibility to county residents. Thirty days would be a good number.
