Veteran reporter joins Daily News

A journalist with more than 17 years of experience at Indiana dailies has joined the Greens­burg Daily News.

Boris Ladwig, 44, grew up in northern Germany and first got to know Hoosier hospitality as an exchange student in Rush County in the 1980s. After completing high school and military service in Germany, he returned to Indiana to study at Indiana State University in 1993. He graduated in 1996 with bachelor’s degrees in radio/TV/film and journalism.

Ladwig worked for three years at the Daily Clintonian in Clinton, where he covered the news in Parke County, including police, education and the Covered Bridge Festival.

He moved to Columbus in 1999 to work at The Republic, where he primarily wrote about businesses, with a focus on Fortune 500 engine maker Cummins Inc.
