The national office of SPJ will offer a series of workshops in Indianapolis this summer aimed at helping journalists improve their social media reporting skills.
Four sessions will be held, and each will build on the previous sessions.
Dates and topics will be:
- Tuesday, June 21: New Media Ethics
- Tuesday, June 27: Writing that Works Online
- Tuesday, July 12: Connect and Communicate
- Tuesday, July 19: Video for the Web.
Each workshop will run from 5-7:30 p.m. at SPJ Headquarters, 3909 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis.
Registration fees for SPJ members are $30 per session or $95 for all four sessions.
For nonmembers, the cost is $40 per session or $135 for all four sessions.
Light dinner is included in the registration fees.
