An Ohio Newspaper Association webinar will focus on news judgment in the digital age.
The Oct. 5 session from 2 to 3 p.m. EDT will help you answer questions such as these:
• What are smart ways for reporters and photographers to approach stories that could be used in print, web and mobile platforms?
• What stories and story-telling approaches work best, and which ones don’t work well, in different platforms?
• How can print stories be freshened and followed so that they don’t repeat what is on the Web?
Join instructor John Kroll of The Plain Dealer (Cleveland), in a fast-moving, 60-minute session. Kroll is director of training and digital development for the Plain Dealer and has also been the senior editor in charge of its online operations since fall 2010.
The cost for nonmembers is $75. Register or get more information at training.ohionews.org.
