Ball State University will offer several emerging media journalism online classes.
Two classes that might especially interest HSPA members include:
• News 339 – Social Media and Audience Interactivity from Aug. 22-Dec. 16.
• News 132 – Multimedia: Audio from Sept. 26-Oct. 30.
Still photographers in particular might find the audio class useful for adding sound to their photo slideshows.
The courses are taught by Ball State faculty, and a journalist from The New York Times also participates in each class. Students can register as noncredit or credit participants in Ball State’s Emerging Media Journalism Certificate program.
