David Eldridge has been named publisher of the Perry County News (Tell City).
In addition to his duties as publisher, his position includes responsibilities for the Tell City printing plant as well as regional manager responsibility for The Spencer County Journal-Democrat and Mount Vernon Democrat.
Eldridge most recently was publisher of the Winchester Sun, a daily newspaper in Winchester, Ky.
He has years of newspaper experience in both weekly and daily operations that include circulation, general management and publisher roles.
He spent six years with Landmark Community Newspapers, from 1991-1997, as the general manager of the Henry County Local, a weekly paper in Eminence, Ky.
Perry County News is a semi-weekly newspaper with a circulation of 5,722.
