A new online tool provides access to updated U.S. Census Bureau statistics from the American Community Survey, the bureau’s ongoing survey of the American population.
Using the My Congressional District feature, users can search by district for data on age, race, ethnicity, the number of residents born in the United States or the state, the ancestry of the district’s population, the number of veterans and disabled individuals, and where residents lived one year ago.
To use the tool, type in the name of a state and the district number (a map shows how each state’s districts are broken up), then scroll through the available statistics.
