The Madison Courier, a family owned daily newspaper in beautiful Madison, Indiana, is looking for a sports reporter to join our team.  Reporters contribute to both print and electronic news platforms. Strong  sports reporting and writing skills are required. Social media, photo and video skills are a must. InDesign and Photoshop experience is a plus.  We encourage enterprise and believe that the best reporters  embrace a community and its residents. Madison is located on the Ohio River about 50 miles from Louisville, 85 miles from Cincinnati and 90 miles from Indianapolis. We value our quality of life. During the spring, summer and fall months, Madison hosts a variety of fairs and festivals including the Madison Regatta hydroplane races; Ribberfest, a blues and BBQ festival; and the Chautauqua Festival of Art. Experienced reporters are preferred, but strong entry level candidates will be considered.
