This year Key made presentations at newspapers, regional meetings, HSPA Foundation conferences and workshops for beginning reporters.

Civic Health Index

HSPA Foundation was one of several organizations who sponsored the creation of an Indiana Civic Health Index in 2011. Former U.S. Rep. Lee Hamilton and Indiana Chief Justice Shepard supported the effort that found the state ranks 48th in the frequency of citizens discussing politics frequently and not surprisingly 48th in voting.
