Marisa Kwiatkowski recently joined the investigative reporting team of The Indianapolis Star.
Prior to that, she worked for more than six years at The Times (Munster).
She recently received two national awards for her series “Children in Peril:” a Sigma Delta Chi Award from the Society of Professional Journalists and a Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism.
She also received numerous state and regional reporting honors while at The Times.
Kwiatkowski has also worked for newspapers in South Carolina and Michigan. She has a bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University in Michigan.
