The Decatur Daily Democrat in Eastern Indiana covering Adams County is looking for a full time ambitious sports reporter to work with the news team at the Decatur Daily Democrat. We are looking for someone with sports writing experience and/or someone that has excellent writing skills and a passion for sports.

The successful candidate will report game statistics, photos and stories from sporting events in and around Adams County along with recreational activities including hunting, fishing and hiking.  The sports reporter will write stories and update the website.  Page design and knowledge of Adobe Indesign are also pluses. Successful candidate must have the ability to relocate to the Decatur, Indiana area.

Schedule:  8 hour shift, typically afternoons and early evenings
