The Times of Northwest Indiana is seeking a full time Visuals Director.
Video and visual storytelling are at the core of where we want to go as a leading provider of local news in one of Indiana’s biggest population centers.
We’re looking for a visuals director who can bring both talent and leadership to our goal of becoming a leading news agency for video and visual storytelling. Background and acumen for both still photography and video are key to the success of our print and digital platforms for one of the largest news agencies in the Midwest. Experience in capturing video for print, digital and broadcast media are all desired qualities. And the ability to help one of the most prolific local news agencies for online readership in the country to get even stronger is essential.
Our visuals director should be ready to lead a staff of reporters and staff and freelance photographers/videographers in the day-to-day our news flow, managing assignments and coaching for quality. But it’s key for our visuals director to also be a player-coach, producing some of the key content for our readers and helping to run our overall digital content flow during parts of the week.
We offer a competitive compensation package to include medical, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, 401k plan, paid time off(PTO), and paid holidays.
