A new advertising director has joined the Tribune-Star (Terre Haute).
Julie Killion began her new assignment April 15.
A 14-year veteran of the newspaper industry, she has been with Community Newspaper Holdings Inc., the parent company of the Tribune-Star, for the past eight years.
The move here is a Midwest homecoming of sorts for Killion, who grew up in the city of Marion in southern Illinois and graduated from Eastern Illinois University at Charleston, about an hour west of Terre Haute.
Killion comes to Indiana from Texas, where she was publisher of the Weatherford Democrat. She will continue in her role as a vice president of sales and marketing for CNHI, working with the company’s newspapers and websites in Indiana.
