From The Courier-Times (New Castle):
Q: Are there Indiana laws that specify how many proofs of publication we have to provide to our legal advertisers?
Our sister paper in Michigan provides one affidavit per public notice advertisement, and the charge is $15.
A: Indiana isn’t as generous.
I.C. 5-3-1-1(d) says each newspaper shall submit proof of publication and claim for payment in duplicate on each public notice advertisement published.
For each additional proof of purchase, a newspaper can charge $1.
