The Times of Northwest Indiana (Munster) has been recognized as one of the top 10 sports sections in the nation for the 14th time in 17 years by the Associated Press Sports Editors.

The Times finished in the Top 10 in the Special Section category in the 75,001- to 175,000-circulation division.

The Times entered its special section on the 100-year anniversary of the IHSAA boys basketball tournament.
