From the South Bend Tribune:
Q: We have an advertiser who wants to run an ad about a gun raffle.
Are there any Indiana laws that would be violated if we run this?
A: There’s no problem with someone selling guns in Indiana.
But if the ad mentions a raffle, that would fall under the Indiana Gaming Commission jurisdiction, and the advertiser would need the commission’s approval for the raffle.
Raffles are often approved for nonprofit entities, but I can’t imagine there are too many nonprofits that would make a weapon the prize in a fundraising raffle.
