Steve Smarzynski joined the Pilot News Group as circulation manager.
Formerly with the News Dispatch (Michigan City), Smarzynski has more than a decade of experience in newspaper delivery and circulation operations.
At the Michigan City newspaper, Smarzynski was assistant circulation manager, handling the hiring of carriers, route distribution, subscriber problems and other tasks.
His role at the Pilot News is similar but carries with it the added responsibility of improving customer service and utilizing new technologies to their full potential.
