A postal education seminar in Bloomington includes food, door prizes and local mailing industry vendors.

The Bloomington Postal Customers Council’s fall 2013 seminar will be from 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 1 at Indiana University’s Virgil T. DeVault Alumni Center, 1000 E. 17th St., Bloomington.

Registration is required and costs $20 per person; seating is limited.

Seminar topics will include:

• Shipping Services Overview: Learn different options on shipping packages and money-saving ideas.

•Every Door Direct Mail: Learn how to reach every household with your advertising piece.

• Flat Mail Piece Design: Learn the correct and best way to design publications such as magazines, newspapers and journals for mailing.
