Julie McClure, a journalist who has held editing positions in Kokomo and Lafayette, has been named managing editor of the Michigan City News Dispatch.
McClure was features editor at the Journal and Courier (Lafayette) before beginning her new job in Michigan City at the end of April.
Prior to that, McClure worked as city editor at the Kokomo Tribune.
She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Evansville.
McClure is originally from New Carlisle.
