March 8, 2017–The Hoosier State Press Association was awarded a grant from the Yandall C. Cline 1st Amendment Freedom Fund for Hoosier State Press Assn., a component fund of the Community Foundation of Boone County.
This endowment fund was established in 1003 by Stephen C. & Sandra B. Cline, for the purpose of providing support tot he Hoosier State Press Association for first amendment freedom activities. It also supports, encourages, and defends the exercise of rights guaranteed under the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.
The Community Foundation of Boone County unites people, organizations and philanthropy to create a thriving community for all. Since 1991, the Community Foundation has granted $20 million back to Boone County. By our community, for our community–forever.
