Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the Hoosier State Press Association Foundation is postponing its Better Newspaper Contest and Advertising contest until 2021. Please inform you newsroom, advertising and graphics personnel immediately.
With the contests delayed, we also will be postponing the fall Newsroom Seminar and Advertising Conference where HSPA Foundation normally provides training for your staff and presents awards in both the advertising and newsroom contests.
Continue to set aside the best of your newsroom and advertising staff’s work because the work done since the last contest period still will be recognized when we reopen the contest submission process.
We know everyone at your newspapers are already going above and beyond to serve your communities and we look forward to seeing the best of their hard work recognized. We’ll just have to wait a little longer for the celebration.
