From the Peru Tribune:

Q: A parent asked if we would publish the addresses of sex offenders prior to the Halloween season. All the addresses from our county are published on the sheriff’s department website. We will attribute the information to the department. Is this OK to do? We’re not listing names.

A: There’s no legal issue with running a sex offender address list. Just be sure you attribute the information to the proper agency and make sure you don’t publish a wrong address due to a typo or number transposition.
